Only-begotten Son and Logos of God, being immortal, You condescended for our salvation to take flesh from the holy Theotokos and ever-virgin Mary and, without change, became man. Christ, our God, You were crucified and conquered death by death. Being one of the Holy Trinity, glorified with the Father and the Holy Spirit: Save us.

Por aquellos días, Agripa dijo a Pablo: «Se te permite hablar en tu favor.» Entonces Pablo extendió su mano y empezó su defensa: «En este empeño me dirigí a Damasco con plenos poderes y la autorización de los sumos sacerdotes. Al mediodía, yendo de camino vi, majestad, una luz que venía del cielo, más resplandeciente que el sol, que me envolvió a mí y a mis compañeros en su resplandor. Caímos todos a tierra y pude oír una voz que me decía en lengua hebrea: ‘Saúl, Saúl, ¿por qué me persigues? Te va a resultar duro dar coces contra el aguijón.’ Yo respondí: ‘¿Quién eres, Señor?’ El Señor me dijo: ‘Yo soy Jesús, a quien tú persigues. Pero levántate, ponte en pie. Me he aparecido a ti para constituirte servidor y testigo tanto de las cosas que de mí has visto como de las que te manifestaré. And when we had all fallen to the ground, I heard a voice saying to me in the Hebrew language, ‘Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? It hurts you to kick against the goads.’ And I said, ‘Who are you, Lord?’ And the Lord said, ‘I am Jesus whom you are persecuting. En aquel tiempo, se presentó Jesús resucitado en medio de ellos y les dijo: «La paz con ustedes.» Sobresaltados y asustados, creyeron ver un espíritu. Pero él les dijo: «¿Por qué se turban? ¿Por qué alberga dudas su mente? Miren mis manos y mis pies; soy yo mismo. Pálpenme y vean, porque un espíritu no tiene carne y huesos como ven que yo tengo.» Dicho esto, les mostró las manos y los pies. Como no acababan de creérselo a causa de la alegría, y estaban asombrados, les dijo: «¿Tienen aquí algo de comer?» Ellos le ofrecieron un trozo de pescado. Lo tomó y comió delante de ellos. Después les dijo: «Lo ocurrido confirma las palabras que les dije cuando todavía estaba con ustedes: Es necesario que se cumpla todo lo que está escrito en la Ley de Moisés, en los Profetas y en los Salmos acerca de mí.» Entonces, abrió sus mentes para que comprendieran las Escrituras, y les dijo: «Está escrito que el Cristo debía padecer y resucitar de entre los muertos al tercer día y que se predicaría en su nombre la conversión para perdón de los pecados a todas las naciones, empezando desde Jerusalén. Ustedes son testigos de estas cosas. Ahora voy a enviar sobre ustedes la Promesa de mi Padre. De momento permanecen en la ciudad, hasta que sean revestidos de poder desde lo alto.» Los sacó hasta cerca de Betania y, alzando sus manos, los bendijo. Y, mientras los bendecía, se separó de ellos y fue llevado al cielo. Ellos, después de postrarse ante él, se volvieron a Jerusalén llenos de alegría. Y estaban siempre en el Templo alabando a Dios. At that time, Jesus, having risen from the dead, stood in the midst of his disciples and said to them, “Peace to you!” But they were startled and frightened, and supposed that they saw a spirit. And he said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do questionings rise in your hearts? See my hands and feet, that it is I myself; handle me, and see; for a spirit has not flesh and bones as you see that I have.” And when he said this, he showed them his hands and his feet. And while they still disbelieved for joy, and wondered, he said to them, “Have you anything here to eat?” They gave him a piece of broiled fish and some honeycomb, and he took it and ate before them. Then he said to them, “These are my words which I spoke to you, while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the law of Moses and the prophets and the psalms must be fulfilled.” Then he opened their minds to understand the scriptures, and said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you; but stay in the city of Jerusalem, until you are clothed with power from on high.” Then he led them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up his hands, he blessed them. While he blessed them, he parted from them, and was carried up into heaven. And they worshiped him, and they returned to Jerusalem with great joy, and were continually in the temple praising and blessing God. Amen. [RSV]
Τῷ καιρῷ ἐκείνῳ, ἀναστὰς ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἐκ νεκρῶν ἔστη ἐν μέσῳ τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς· εἰρήνη ὑμῖν. πτοηθέντες δὲ καὶ ἔμφοβοι γενόμενοι ἐδόκουν πνεῦμα θεωρεῖν. καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· τί τεταραγμένοι ἐστέ, καὶ διατί διαλογισμοὶ ἀναβαίνουσιν ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις ὑμῶν; ἴδετε τὰς χεῖράς μου καὶ τοὺς πόδας μου, ὅτι αὐτὸς ἐγώ εἰμι· ψηλαφήσατέ με καὶ ἴδετε, ὅτι πνεῦμα σάρκα καὶ ὀστέα οὐκ ἔχει καθὼς ἐμὲ θεωρεῖτε ἔχοντα. καὶ τοῦτο εἰπὼν ἐπέδειξεν αὐτοῖς τὰς χεῖρας καὶ τοὺς πόδας. ἔτι δὲ ἀπιστούντων αὐτῶν ἀπὸ τῆς χαρᾶς καὶ θαυμαζόντων εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· ἔχετέ τι βρώσιμον ἐνθάδε; οἱ δὲ ἐπέδωκαν αὐτῷ ἰχθύος ὀπτοῦ μέρος καὶ ἀπὸ μελισσίου κηρίου, καὶ λαβὼν ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν ἔφαγεν. εἶπε δὲ αὐτοῖς· οὗτοι οἱ λόγοι οὓς ἐλάλησα πρὸς ὑμᾶς ἔτι ὢν σὺν ὑμῖν, ὅτι δεῖ πληρωθῆναι πάντα τὰ γεγραμμένα ἐν τῷ νόμῳ Μωϋσέως καὶ προφήταις καὶ ψαλμοῖς περὶ ἐμοῦ. τότε διήνοιξεν αὐτῶν τὸν νοῦν τοῦ συνιέναι τὰς γραφάς, καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ὅτι οὕτω γέγραπται καὶ οὕτως ἔδει παθεῖν τὸν Χριστὸν καὶ ἀναστῆναι ἐκ νεκρῶν τῇ τρίτῃ ἡμέρᾳ, καὶ κηρυχθῆναι ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματι αὐτοῦ μετάνοιαν καὶ ἄφεσιν ἁμαρτιῶν εἰς πάντα τὰ ἔθνη, ἀρξάμενον ἀπὸ Ἱερουσαλήμ. ὑμεῖς δέ ἐστε μάρτυρες τούτων. καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἀποστέλλω τὴν ἐπαγγελίαν τοῦ πατρός μου ἐφ᾿ ὑμᾶς· ὑμεῖς δὲ καθίσατε ἐν τῇ πόλει Ἱερουσαλὴμ ἕως οὗ ἐνδύσησθε δύναμιν ἐξ ὕψους. Ἐξήγαγε δὲ αὐτοὺς ἔξω ἕως εἰς Βηθανίαν, καὶ ἐπάρας τὰς χεῖρας αὐτοῦ εὐλόγησεν αὐτούς. καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ εὐλογεῖν αὐτὸν αὐτοὺς διέστη ἀπ᾿ αὐτῶν καὶ ἀνεφέρετο εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν. καὶ αὐτοὶ προσκυνήσαντες αὐτὸν ὑπέστρεψαν εἰς Ἱερουσαλὴμ μετὰ χαρᾶς μεγάλης, καὶ ἦσαν διὰ παντὸς ἐν τῷ ἱερῷ αἰνοῦντες καὶ εὐλογοῦντες τὸν Θεόν. ἀμήν.
