Hermanos, los frutos del Espíritu son amor, alegría, paz, paciencia, afabilidad, bondad, fidelidad, modestia, dominio de sí. No hay ley que condene tales cosas. Además, los que son de Cristo Jesús han crucificado la carne con sus pasiones y sus apetencias. Si vivimos por el Espíritu, sigamos también al Espíritu. No seamos vanidosos, provocándonos los unos a los otros y envidiándonos mutuamente. Hermanos, si alguno es sorprendido en alguna falta, ustedes, los espirituales, corríjanle con espíritu de mansedumbre. ¡Pero cuidado, que también tú puedes ser tentado! Ayúdense mutuamente a llevar sus cargas, y cumplan así la ley de Cristo. [BJ-SAOGM]
Brethren, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Let us have no self-conceit, no provoking of one another, no envy of one another. Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Look to yourself, lest you too be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. [RSV]

Εἰ ζῶμεν Πνεύματι, πνεύματι καὶ στοιχῶμεν. μὴ γινώμεθα κενόδοξοι, ἀλλήλους προκαλούμενοι, ἀλλήλοις φθονοῦντες. Ἀδελφοί, ἐὰν καὶ προληφθῇ ἄνθρωπος ἔν τινι παραπτώματι, ὑμεῖς οἱ πνευματικοὶ καταρτίζετε τὸν τοιοῦτον ἐν πνεύματι πρᾳότητος, σκοπῶν σεαυτόν, μὴ καὶ σὺ πειρασθῇς. ἀλλήλων τὰ βάρη βαστάζετε, καὶ οὕτως ἀναπληρώσατε τὸν νόμον τοῦ Χριστοῦ.

En aquel tiempo, un maestro de la ley le preguntó con ánimo de tentarle: «Maestro, ¿cuál es el mandamiento mayor de la Ley?» Él le dijo: «Amarás al Señor, tu Dios, con todo tu corazón, con toda tu alma y con toda tu mente. Este es el mayor y el primer mandamiento. El segundo es semejante a éste: Amarás a tu prójimo como a ti mismo. De estos dos mandamientos cuelgan toda la Ley y los Profetas.» Estando reunidos los fariseos, les propuso Jesús esta cuestión: «¿Qué piensan acerca del Cristo? ¿De quién es hijo?» Le dicen: «De David.» Les dice: «Pues ¿cómo David, movido por el Espíritu, le llama Señor, cuando dice: Dijo el Señor a mi Señor: Siéntate a mi diestra hasta que ponga a tus enemigos debajo de tus pies? Si, pues, David le llama Señor, ¿cómo puede ser hijo suyo?» Nadie era capaz de contestarle nada; y desde ese día ninguno se atrevió ya a hacerle más preguntas. [BJ-SAOGM]
At that time, a lawyer came to Jesus and asked him a question, to test him. “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets.” Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question, saying, “What do you think of Christ? Whose son is he?” They said to him, “The son of David.” He said to them, “How is it then that David in the Spirit calls him Lord, saying, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at my right hand, till I put your enemies under your feet’? If David thus calls him Lord, how is he his son?” And no one was able to answer him a word, nor from that day did anyone dare to ask him any more questions. [RSV]
Τῷ καιρῷ ἐκείνῳ, νομικός τις προσῆλθε τῷ Ἰησοῦ, πειράζων αὐτὸν καὶ λέγων· διδάσκαλε, ποία ἐντολὴ μεγάλη ἐν τῷ νόμῳ; ὁ δὲ ᾿Ιησοῦς ἔφη αὐτῷ· ἀγαπήσεις Κύριον τὸν Θεόν σου ἐν ὅλῃ τῇ καρδίᾳ σου καὶ ἐν ὅλῃ τῇ ψυχῇ σου καὶ ἐν ὅλῃ τῇ διανοίᾳ σου. αὕτη ἐστὶ πρώτη καὶ μεγάλη ἐντολή. δευτέρα δὲ ὁμοία αὐτῇ· ἀγαπήσεις τὸν πλησίον σου ὡς σεαυτόν. ἐν ταύταις ταῖς δυσὶν ἐντολαῖς ὅλος ὁ νόμος καὶ οἱ προφῆται κρέμανται. Συνηγμένων δὲ τῶν Φαρισαίων ἐπηρώτησεν αὐτοὺς ὁ ᾿Ιησοῦς λέγων· τί ὑμῖν δοκεῖ περὶ τοῦ Χριστοῦ; τίνος υἱός ἐστι; λέγουσιν αὐτῷ· τοῦ Δαυΐδ. λέγει αὐτοῖς· πῶς οὖν Δαυῒδ ἐν Πνεύματι Κύριον αὐτὸν καλεῖ λέγων, εἶπεν ὁ Κύριος τῷ Κυρίῳ μου, κάθου ἐκ δεξιῶν μου ἕως ἂν θῶ τοὺς ἐχθρούς σου ὑποπόδιον τῶν ποδῶν σου; εἰ οὖν Δαυῒδ καλεῖ αὐτὸν Κύριον, πῶς υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ἐστι; καὶ οὐδεὶς ἐδύνατο αὐτῷ ἀποκριθῆναι λόγον, οὐδὲ ἐτόλμησέ τις ἀπ᾿ ἐκείνης τῆς ἡμέρας ἐπερωτῆσαι αὐτὸν οὐκέτι.

Τῇ ΙΘʹ τοῦ αὐτοῦ μηνός, μνήμη τοῦ Ὁσίου Πατρὸς ἡμῶν Μακαρίου τοῦ Αἰγυπτίου, καὶ ἀναχωρητοῦ· καὶ τοῦ Ὁσίου Μακαρίου τοῦ Ἀλεξανδρέως.
Por las intercesiones de tus santos, oh Cristo nuestro Dios, ten piedad de nosotros. Amén.
