Only-begotten Son and Logos of God, being immortal, You condescended for our salvation to take flesh from the holy Theotokos and ever-virgin Mary and, without change, became man. Hermanos, acuérdense de sus guías, que les anunciaron la palabra de Dios; consideren el buen desenlace de su vida e imiten su fe. Jesús Cristo es el mismo, ayer, hoy y por los siglos. No se dejen seducir por doctrinas diversas y extrañas. Mejor es fortalecer el corazón con la gracia que con alimentos, que nada aprovecharon a los que siguieron ese camino. Tenemos nosotros un altar del cual no tienen derecho a comer los que dan culto en la Tienda. Los cuerpos de los animales, cuya sangre lleva el sumo sacerdote al santuario para la expiación del pecado, son quemados fuera del campamento. Por eso, también Jesús, para santificar al pueblo con su sangre, padeció fuera de la puerta. Así pues, salgamos hacia él, fuera del campamento, cargando con su ignominia, pues no tenemos aquí ciudad permanente, sino que buscamos la futura. Por medio de él, ofrezcamos sin cesar a Dios un sacrificio de alabanza, es decir, el fruto de los labios que confiesan su nombre. No descuiden la beneficencia y la comunión de bienes; ésos son los sacrificios que agradan a Dios. [BJ-SAOGM]
Brethren, remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God; consider the outcome of their lives, and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and for ever. Do not be led away by diverse and strange teachings; for it is well that the heart be strengthened by grace, not by foods, which have not benefited their adherents. We have an altar from which those who serve the tent have no right to eat. For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest as a sacrifice for sin are burned outside the camp. So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his own blood. Therefore let us go forth to him outside the camp and bear the abuse he endured. For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city which is to come. Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God. [RSV]

En aquel tiempo, Jesús entró en un pueblo y salieron a su encuentro diez hombres leprosos, que se pararon a distancia y, levantando la voz, dijeron: «¡Jesús, Maestro, ten compasión de nosotros!» Al verlos, les dijo: «Vayan y preséntense a los sacerdotes.» Y resulta que, mientras iban, quedaron limpios. Uno de ellos, viéndose curado, se volvió alabando a Dios en alta voz, y, postrándose rostro en tierra a los pies de Jesús, le dio las gracias. Era un samaritano. Dijo entonces Jesús: «¿No quedaron limpios los diez? ¿Dónde están los otros nueve? ¿No ha habido quien volviera a dar gloria a Dios, sino este extranjero?» Y añadió: «Levántate y vete; tu fe te ha salvado.» [BJ-SAOGM]
At that time, as Jesus entered a village, he was met by ten lepers, who stood at a distance and lifted up their voices and said: “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.” When he saw them he said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went they were cleansed. Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice; and he fell on his face at Jesus’s feet, giving him thanks. Now he was a Samaritan. Then said Jesus: “Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine? Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?” And he said to him: “Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well.” [RSV]

Digno es, en verdad, aclamarte a ti, Theotokos, la siempre bienaventurada e inmaculada, y Madre de nuestro Dios. A la más honorable que los querubines y más gloriosa, incomparablemente que los serafines; a ti, la que incorruptamente, diste a luz al Verbo de Dios, a la verdaderamente Theotokos, te exaltamos.
It is truly right to bless you, Theotokos, ever blessed, most pure, and Mother of our God. More honorable than the Cherubim, and beyond compare more glorious than the Seraphim, without corruption you gave birth to God the Logos. We magnify you, the true Theotokos.
