Hermanos, todo cuanto hagan, de palabra y de obra, háganlo todo en el nombre del Señor Jesús, dando gracias a Dios Padre por medio de él. Mujeres, sean sumisas a sus maridos, como conviene a quien cree en el Señor. Maridos, amen a sus mujeres, y no sean ásperos con ellas. Hijos, obedezcan en todo a sus padres, porque esto es grato a Dios en el Señor. Padres, no exasperen a sus hijos, no sea que se vuelvan apocados. Esclavos, obedezcan en todo a sus amos de este mundo, no porque los ven, como quien busca agradar a los hombres, sino con sencillez de corazón, respetando al Señor. Todo cuanto hagan, háganlo de corazón, como si fuera para el Señor y no para los hombres, conscientes de que el Señor les dará la herencia en recompensa. El Amo a quien sirven es Cristo. Así que, al que obre injustamente, se le devolverá conforme a esa injusticia, pues para Dios no hay favoritismos. Amos, den a sus esclavos lo que es justo y equitativo, teniendo presente que también ustedes tienen un amo en el cielo. [BJ-SAOGM]
Brethren, whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them. Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord. Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged. Slaves, obey in everything those who are your earthly masters, not with eye-service, as men-pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing the Lord. Whatever your task, work heartily, as serving the Lord and not men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward; you are serving the Lord Christ. For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality. Masters, treat your slaves justly and fairly, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven. [RSV]

Οἱ δοῦλοι ὑπακούετε κατὰ πάντα τοῖς κατὰ σάρκα κυρίοις, μὴ ἐν ὀφθαλμοδουλίαις, ὡς ἀνθρωπάρεσκοι, ἀλλ᾽ ἐν ἁπλότητι καρδίας, φοβούμενοι τὸν Θεόν. καὶ πᾶν ὅ,τι ἐὰν ποιῆτε, ἐκ ψυχῆς ἐργάζεσθε, ὡς τῷ Κυρίῳ καὶ οὐκ ἀνθρώποις, εἰδότες ὅτι ἀπὸ Κυρίου ἀπολήψεσθε τὴν ἀνταπόδοσιν τῆς κληρονομίας· τῷ γὰρ Κυρίῳ Χριστῷ δουλεύετε· ὁ δὲ ἀδικῶν κομιεῖται ὃ ἠδίκησε, καὶ οὐκ ἔστι προσωποληψία. Οἱ κύριοι τὸ δίκαιον καὶ τὴν ἰσότητα τοῖς δούλοις παρέχεσθε, εἰδότες ὅτι καὶ ὑμεῖς ἔχετε Κύριον ἐν οὐρανοῖς.

Dijo el Señor a los judíos que vinieron a Él: «¡Ay de ustedes, fariseos, que pagan el diezmo de la menta, de la ruda y de toda hortaliza, y dejan a un lado la justicia y el amor a Dios! Esto es lo que había que practicar, aunque sin omitir aquello. ¡Ay de ustedes, fariseos, que les gusta ocupar el primer asiento en las sinagogas y que les saluden en las plazas! ¡Ay de ustedes!, pues son como los sepulcros que no se ven, sobre los que andan los hombres sin saberlo.» Uno de los legistas le respondió: «¡Maestro, diciendo estas cosas también nos injurias a nosotros!» Pero él dijo: «¡Ay también de ustedes, legistas, que imponen a los hombres cargas intolerables, y ustedes no las tocan ni con uno de sus dedos!» [BJ-SAOGM]
The Lord said to the Jews who had come to him, “Woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and every herb, and neglect justice and the love of God; these you ought to have done, without neglecting the others. Woe to you Pharisees! For you love the best seat in the synagogues and salutations in the market places. Woe to you! For you are like graves which are not seen, and men walk over them without knowing it.” One of the lawyers answered him, “Teacher, in saying this you reproach us also.” And he said, “Woe to you lawyers also! For you load men with burdens hard to bear, and you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers.” [RSV]
Εἶπεν ὁ Κύριος πρὸς τοὺς ἐληλυθότας πρὸς αὐτὸν Ἰουδαίους· οὐαὶ ὑμῖν τοῖς Φαρισαίοις, ὅτι ἀποδεκατοῦτε τὸ ἡδύοσμον καὶ τὸ πήγανον καὶ πᾶν λάχανον, καὶ παρέρχεσθε τὴν κρίσιν καὶ τὴν ἀγάπην τοῦ Θεοῦ· ταῦτα δὲ ἔδει ποιῆσαι, κἀκεῖνα μὴ ἀφιέναι. οὐαὶ ὑμῖν τοῖς Φαρισαίοις, ὅτι ἀγαπᾶτε τὴν πρωτοκαθεδρίαν ἐν ταῖς συναγωγαῖς καὶ τοὺς ἀσπασμοὺς ἐν ταῖς ἀγοραῖς. οὐαὶ ὑμῖν, γραμματεῖς καὶ Φαρισαῖοι ὑποκριταί, ὅτι ἐστὲ ὡς τὰ μνημεῖα τὰ ἄδηλα, καὶ οἱ ἄνθρωποι περιπατοῦντες ἐπάνω οὐκ οἴδασιν. Ἀποκριθεὶς δέ τις τῶν νομικῶν λέγει αὐτῷ· διδάσκαλε, ταῦτα λέγων καὶ ἡμᾶς ὑβρίζεις. ὁ δὲ εἶπε· καὶ ὑμῖν τοῖς νομικοῖς οὐαί, ὅτι φορτίζετε τοὺς ἀνθρώπους φορτία δυσβάστακτα, καὶ αὐτοὶ ἑνὶ τῶν δακτύλων ὑμῶν οὐ προσψαύετε τοῖς φορτίοις.
