Hermanos, manténganse siempre en la oración y la súplica, orando en toda ocasión por medio del Espíritu, velando juntos con perseverancia e intercediendo por todos los santos. Y oren también por mí, para que Dios me conceda la palabra adecuada cuando abra mi boca para dar a conocer con valentía el misterio del Evangelio, del cual soy embajador entre cadenas, y pueda hablar de él valientemente, como conviene. Tíquico, el hermano querido y fiel ministro en la obra del Señor, les informará de todo, de cómo me va y qué hago. Se lo envío expresamente para que sepan de nosotros y consuele sus corazones. Paz a los hermanos, y caridad con fe de parte de Dios Padre y del Señor Jesús Cristo. La gracia sea con todos los que aman a nuestro Señor Jesús Cristo en la vida incorruptible. [BJ-SAOGM] |
Brethren, stand, and pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that utterance may be given me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak. Now that you also may know how I am and what I am doing, Tychicus the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord will tell you everything. I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know how we are, and that he may encourage your hearts. Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with love undying. Amen. [RSV] |
Ἀδελφοί, στῆτε, διὰ πάσης προσευχῆς καὶ δεήσεως, προσευχόμενοι ἐν παντὶ καιρῷ ἐν Πνεύματι, καὶ εἰς αὐτὸ τοῦτο ἀγρυπνοῦντες ἐν πάσῃ προσκαρτερήσει καὶ δεήσει περὶ πάντων τῶν ἁγίων, καὶ ὑπὲρ ἐμοῦ, ἵνα μοι δοθῇ λόγος ἐν ἀνοίξει τοῦ στόματός μου, ἐν παρρησίᾳ γνωρίσαι τὸ μυστήριον τοῦ εὐαγγελίου, ὑπὲρ οὗ πρεσβεύω ἐν ἁλύσει, ἵνα ἐν αὐτῷ παρρησιάσωμαι ὡς δεῖ με λαλῆσαι. Ἵνα δὲ εἰδῆτε καὶ ὑμεῖς τὰ κατ᾽ ἐμέ, τί πράσσω, πάντα ὑμῖν γνωρίσει Τυχικὸς ὁ ἀγαπητὸς ἀδελφὸς καὶ πιστὸς διάκονος ἐν Κυρίῳ, ὃν ἔπεμψα πρὸς ὑμᾶς εἰς αὐτὸ τοῦτο, ἵνα γνῶτε τὰ περὶ ἡμῶν καὶ παρακαλέσῃ τὰς καρδίας ὑμῶν. Dijo el Señor: «El que no está conmigo, está contra mí; y el que no recoge conmigo, desparrama. Cuando el espíritu inmundo sale del hombre, anda vagando por lugares áridos, en busca de reposo; pero, al no encontrarlo, piensa: ‘Me volveré a mi casa, de donde salí.’ Pero resulta que, al llegar, la encuentra barrida y en orden. Entonces va y toma otros siete espíritus peores que él; entran y se instalan allí, y el final de aquel hombre viene a ser peor que el principio.» [BJ-SAOGM] |
The Lord said, “He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters. When the unclean spirit has gone out of a man, he passes through waterless places seeking rest; and finding none he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes he finds it swept and put in order. Then he goes and brings seven other spirits more evil than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first.” [RSV] |
Εἶπεν ὁ Κύριος· ὁ μὴ ὢν μετ᾿ ἐμοῦ κατ᾿ ἐμοῦ ἐστι, καὶ ὁ μὴ συνάγων μετ᾿ ἐμοῦ σκορπίζει. Ὅταν τὸ ἀκάθαρτον πνεῦμα ἐξέλθῃ ἀπὸ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου, διέρχεται δι᾿ ἀνύδρων τόπων ζητοῦν ἀνάπαυσιν, καὶ μὴ εὑρίσκον λέγει· ὑποστρέψω εἰς τὸν οἶκόν μου ὅθεν ἐξῆλθον· καὶ ἐλθὸν εὑρίσκει σεσαρωμένον καὶ κεκοσμημένον. τότε πορεύεται καὶ παραλαμβάνει ἑπτὰ ἕτερα πνεύματα πονηρότερα ἑαυτοῦ, καὶ εἰσελθόντα κατοικεῖ ἐκεῖ, καὶ γίνεται τὰ ἔσχατα τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐκείνου χείρονα τῶν πρώτων. |
