Only-begotten Son and Logos of God, being immortal, You condescended for our salvation to take flesh from the holy Theotokos and ever-virgin Mary and, without change, became man. Por tus milagros te convertiste en una luz, brillando por todo el mundo. Oh Hilarión, nuestro piadoso padre, ruega a Cristo nuestro Dios, que salve nuestras almas. [SAOGM]

With the rivers of your tears you made the barren desert bloom; and with your sighs from deep within, you made your labors bear their fruits a hundredfold; and you became a star, illuminating the world by your miracles, O Hilarion, our devout father. Intercede with Christ our God, for the salvation of our souls. [SD]

Que cada cual dé según el dictamen de su corazón, no de mala gana ni forzado, pues: Dios ama al que da con alegría. Y poderoso es Dios para colmarlos de todo bien, a fin de que, teniendo siempre y en todo lo necesario, tengan aún sobrante para hacer buenas obras, como está escrito: Repartió; dio a los pobres; su justicia permanece eternamente. Aquel que provee de simiente al sembrador y de pan para su alimento, proveerá y multiplicará su sementera y aumentará los frutos de su justicia. Brethren, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must do as he has made up his mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. Dijo el Señor: «Mi Padre me ha entregado todo, y nadie conoce quién es el Hijo, sino el Padre; ni quién es el Padre, sino el Hijo y aquel a quien el Hijo se lo quiera revelar.» Volviéndose a los discípulos, les dijo aparte: «¡Dichosos los ojos que ven lo que ustedes ven! Porque les digo que muchos profetas y reyes quisieron ver lo que ustedes ven, pero no lo vieron; y oír lo que ustedes oyen, pero no lo oyeron.» [BJ-SAOGM]

The Lord said, “All things have been delivered to me by my Father; and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and any one to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.” Then turning to the disciples he said privately, “Blessed are the eyes which see what you see! For I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.” [RSV]

Digno es, en verdad, aclamarte a ti, Teotocos, la siempre bienaventurada e inmaculada, y Madre de nuestro Dios. A la más honorable que los querubines y más gloriosa, incomparablemente que los serafines; a ti, la que incorruptamente, diste a luz al Verbo de Dios, a la verdaderamente Teotocos, te exaltamos.

It is truly right to bless you, Theotokos, ever blessed, most pure, and Mother of our God. More honorable than the Cherubim, and beyond compare more glorious than the Seraphim, without corruption you gave birth to God the Logos. We magnify you, the true Theotokos.
