Only-begotten Son and Logos of God, being immortal, You condescended for our salvation to take flesh from the holy Theotokos and ever-virgin Mary and, without change, became man. Christ, our God, You were crucified and conquered death by death. Being one of the Holy Trinity, glorified with the Father and the Holy Spirit: Save us.

Dijo el Señor a sus discípulos: «Antes de todo esto, les echarán mano y les perseguirán, les entregarán a las sinagogas y cárceles y les llevarán ante reyes y gobernadores por mi nombre; esto les sucederá para que den testimonio. Propongan, pues, en su corazón no preparar la defensa, porque yo les daré una elocuencia y una sabiduría a la que no podrán resistir ni contradecir todos sus adversarios. Serán entregados por padres, hermanos, parientes y amigos, y matarán a algunos de ustedes. Todos los odiarán por causa de mi nombre. Pero no perecerá ni un cabello de su cabeza. The Lord said to his disciples, “Beware of men; for they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors for my name’s sake. This will be a time for you to bear testimony. Settle it therefore in your minds, not to meditate beforehand how to answer; for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict. You will be delivered up even by parents and brothers and kinsmen and friends, and some of you they will put to death; you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. Digno es, en verdad, aclamarte a ti, Teotocos, la siempre bienaventurada e inmaculada, y Madre de nuestro Dios. A la más honorable que los querubines y más gloriosa, incomparablemente que los serafines; a ti, la que incorruptamente, diste a luz al Verbo de Dios, a la verdaderamente Teotocos, te exaltamos.

It is truly right to bless you, Theotokos, ever blessed, most pure, and Mother of our God. More honorable than the Cherubim, and beyond compare more glorious than the Seraphim, without corruption you gave birth to God the Logos. We magnify you, the true Theotokos.
